In March, you loved this post (Five Warm Weather Outfits That Arenāt a Dress), so weāre back with five more warm weather looks. Iāll always make room in my closet for a great dress, but dresses are what I wear when I donāt feel like trying. Taking the time to pull together separates, to mix, match, and layer . . . thatās where the more interesting looks happen. My goal when getting dressed? Most days? To look interesting. My secondary goal? Comfort. I am too tired to wear outfits that donāt feel as good as they look. ;) The Vibe: A cooler day in Charleston or a warm day in Brooklyn. Drawstring pants (these are such a good dupe for the Leset Kyoto!), a novelty bag, a fun jacket, and these gold slingbacks, which I just love. I see myself wearing this on a Saturday afternoon: I am hitting up my favorite bookstore (Ladybird), meeting a friend for lunch, and taking the long way home on foot. Faraway Cargo Jacket, J.Crew Boyfriend T-Shirt, J.Crew Paneled Poplin Pants, Simon Miller Wooden Fish Clutch, Boden Woven Slingback Flats The Vibe: After-work drinks. You want to feel cool and polished. It is hot, wearing a bra feels hard, but youād rather die than throw on a smocked dress. Long shorts and a popover top are equally cooling, but a little more fun to wear. Farm Rio Denim Shirt, TWP Bermuda Shorts, Marni Cross Strap Sandals, SĆ©zane Mini Basket Bag, Gucci Oval-Frame Sunglasses The Vibe: A walk with a friend. Brown and lime is a color combination that does not get enough love. These flip flops are extraordinarily comfortable (and itās a weird thing to say, but the jewels/jelly combo looks amazing on your feet). Iām really into a lace short paired with a lightweight sweater. If itās too hot for a sweater, swap it for a button-up. This comb necklace is a fun touch. La Ligne Cropped Sweater, Aligne Lace Trim Shorts, Loeffler Randall Jelly Flip Flops, Mademoiselle Jules Comb Necklace, Valesque Satin Tote The Vibe: Dinner with the girls. This is dressed up enough, but . . . not a dress. I own the button-up (the most perfect shade of blue) and canāt stop thinking about the jeans. The neutral color blocking will be super leg lengthening, and theyāre a more interesting (yes, that is the theme of this post!) swap for off-white denim. Veronica Beard Color-Block Jeans, Comme Si Button-Up Shirt, Ramy Brook Pearl Cord Earrings, Margaux Satin Flats, Tuckernuck Raffia Lock Clutch The Vibe: Coolest girl at the party. In a sea of floral midi dresses, be the one who walks in wearing bold colors in an unexpected pairing, bright pants (it is, thankfully, the summer of drawstring pants after all!). I canāt stop thinking about this Merlette bag. I will likely own her by the time this post goes live. Merlette is another under-the-radar brand that is having a moment, akin to Chan Luu. This belt has been sitting in my cart along with the red bag. We have a codeāGRACE15! Chan Luu Tie-Front Shirt, Chan Luu Drawstring Pants, Merlette Beaded Bag, SĆ©zane Braided Mules, Tuckernuck Stud Earrings
