When do listeners actually pay?↓
Never, if you don't want to. The free tier covers everyday listening end-to-end. Storyflo+ is for people who want ad-free + premium voices + the full personalised daily briefing — it's a convenience tier, not a paywall.
How do publisher payouts work?↓
Rev-share lands monthly via Stripe Connect (fiat) or USDC on Base (crypto). Minimum payout threshold is $25. Earnings dashboard is live at /dashboard.
Can I opt out of distribution at any time?↓
Yes. Toggle a feed off in the publisher dashboard and new renders pause within the hour. Already-rendered audio stays live so listener queues don't 404; you can request takedown of any specific item.
How is tax handled on rev-share?↓
U.S. publishers get a 1099 when annual payouts cross $600. International publishers receive a W-8BEN annually and earnings net of any applicable withholding. We use Stripe Tax under the hood.
Is participation exclusive?↓
No. Publishing on Storyflo doesn't prevent you from syndicating the same content anywhere else. The whole point is amplifying reach, not gating it.
