Copenhagen Favorites
Who knew I could be so happy in sub-freezing temperatures? Copenhagen, and its fashion week were such a delight. I canât wait to go back with Grahamâmaybe get an Airbnb for three months? Itâs definitely a super inspiring place. Here are the things saw and loved! There are so many interesting creatives and brands in this city,. It has a sense of eleganceâand a sense of coolâthat I really connect with. Shops are pretty great too. And itâs small, you can walk everywhere! I didnât have much time, but visited two museums. I really, really want to get to the Louisiana Museum next time, but in the meantime, Glyptoteket is super interestingâand Iâd love to talk to an architect about the building itself, which felt slightly over the top at timesâcolumns, colors, all different sorts of marbles... A lot. But overall, I loved it and recommend it! The Design Museum really helps understand the incredible influence Denmark has on modern design. I knew it, but now, I KNOW it. Not a museum, but I loved Louise Roeâs Gallery, and only regretted I couldnât visit all the incredible design and vintage furniture around. Emil, Louiseâs son, recommended that I come back for the 3 Days Of Design in June (better time to walk on the street!), and I might do that. I followed Farrahâs recommendations and was not disappointed⊠Thatâs all for now! There is so, so, so much more for me to discover and I canât wait to go back. My goal is to become a Copenhagen superpro ;) Big kiss! In my last Letter, I wrote about how strange it feels like to come back into your industry at 50. Also, about how I accidentally got high. In my last Note, I shared the news about my SĂ©zane dinner and partnership, Iâm so excited! In our last Live, I talked about plastic surgery, optimism, having children (or not!), aging gracefully, all said with lots and lots of tissues because I was super sick!!! Letâs meet again on Wednesday, February 11th, at 6pm Paris time. You can join the Live here, itâs open to everyone! Just click the link and you can watch in your browser. Let me know if you need help. At DorĂ©, we launched two new incredible serums!!! They are formulated with a proprietary blend of silk peptides and natural ingredients that deliver visible transformation but do not irritate or sensitize your skin. Both are exclusive to Ulta Beauty and you can learn more about them here: Peptides Extreme FermetĂ© and Peptides Bouclier IntĂ©gral. I love them!
