The Dodgers (24-17) lost the first of a four-game series with the Giants (17-24) at Dodger Stadium despite having four players with multiple hits. One of those players was Max Muncy, who homered for the second straight day. Muncyâs homer tied the game at 3-3 in the sixth inning, though the lead didnât last long. In the top of the seventh, the Dodgers bullpen turned to Alex Vesia, who walked in a bases-loaded run with one out, then Will Klein, who gave up a two-RBI single to Willy Adames.
