grohe spa rethinks the bathroom as a space for ritual, expression and personal wellbeing
GROHE SPA Private Collection Vanity Showcased through a series of portfolio pieces and prototypes during Milan Design Week 2026, GROHE SPA offers a forward-looking perspective on the future of bathroom design. The brand shifts the perception of traditional bathrooms, using advanced production techniques and fluid organic forms to create an atmosphere that promotes self-care. Featuring a three-dimensional printing tree shower representing a living element, the âAqua Sanctuaryâ evokes a sense of growth instead of mere manufacturing. Within its subtle light stems, the GROHE SPA AquaTree provides a state of calm and relaxation, transmitting the brandâs concept âWellbeing through Waterâ. Water is thoughtfully separated into two distinct sources: a laminar flow and a fountain spray, the latter being more conducive to skincare rituals. GROHE SPA AquaTree faucet, complementing the visionary collection The brand presents for the first time the GROHE SPA Private Collection Vanity, a conceptual unit for self-care that extends beyond the traditional realms of the bathroom. The unit features the Aqua Pure Steam & Mist for advanced skin longevity â a cleansing steam followed by the gentle touch of mist to nourish and rehydrate the face, ensuring a vibrant glow. Additionally, natural aroma capsules and customisable chromotherapy lighting help create a personalised mood for every moment. To complement the experience, other elements such as the SmartDial Control, precisely orchestrating the water to curate bespoke ritual presets, and a thoughtful storage with a refrigerated compartment for skincare products, guarantee the designâs premium performance. sensory aromatherapy with natural aroma capsules Another showcase is the GROHE SPA Allure Gravity faucet collection. The design features interchangeable cover plates that reinforce its modular approach and bespoke potential. For the first time, GROHE SPA displayed Allure Gravity in combination with five exquisite material concepts including Cordovan leather, highly used to craft high-end accessories, and Marine Teak, a water-resistant material rich in natural oil and silica. As for the metals, the PremiAL, which was LIXILâs first material crafted from recycled aluminum. Meanwhile equally eco-friendly is the composite material Revia, created by the fusion of waste wood and difficult-to-recycle plastics. Available in a variety of textured finishes and colors. For a more traditional variant, Kintsugi, which in Japanese means âjoining with goldâ, is a method for restoring broken porcelain and ceramic artifacts. This material highlights the cracks using a special lacquer called urushi, dusted with powdered gold.
