It becomes clear that the values Carney espouses have guided his first year as Prime Minister. Here are the conceptual highlights that we discuss during our dialogue: There are five essential and universal attributes of leadership: Purpose Perspective Clarity Competence Humility The core values emphasised throughout Carney’s book: solidarity fairness responsibility resilience sustainability dynamism, humility The last concept is one that is particularly relevant in our time.
