• 2020 NDAA directed that Naval Intelligence lead an UAP Task Force (UAPTF) to "collect, exploit, and analyze operational and scientific and technical data of unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP)"
• UAP: Any aerial phenomenon that cannot immediately be identified. • UAPs reported within the United States and around the world. • Safety of Flight

• Effort: Standardize and "De-Stigmatize" Reporting

• We use reporting from operator interactions to cue various other advanced means of taking and analysis. • The UAPTF uses a combination of subject matter expertise and specialized tools to identify, collect, investigate, and report on these contacts. • The results of the data are used to (b) (1) inform other U.S. Government partners and develop concepts for addressing the problem.
